Juvenile Justice Ministry (JJM)

JJM seeks to engage young people in relational outreach as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters). This strategy helps young people acquire and develop a way of living taught by Jesus Christ, balancing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of life. These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they reenter their communities.

Our Story of JJM
JJM El Paso has been operating inside the El Paso Juvenile Probation Department since 2013. Every Saturday we enter the Challenge Academy and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by teaching Christ-like behavior and character. We utilize Bible teachings in small group settings to encourage participation. We encourage them through Biblical truths and teach them how to apply it to their lives. None of this would be possible without your continued prayer and financial support. We look forward to all the things that God has in store for this ministry.

Authentic Christ Sharing Relationships
We offer one-on-one follow-ups after the Word, with any students who would like to talk or pray with our ministry leaders. During this time, many students open up and tell their stories, dive deeper into the Word, and build mutual trust. It is in these beautiful moments that we see the power of God as he moves on their hearts and begins to lift years of hurt, abuse, and burdens off of their shoulders. It is our prayer that through these authentic Christ-sharing relationships the youth will be more willing to connect with us on the outside and continue their journey of faith.
