There are times when we need help, and it can be hard to know who to turn to in difficult times. In this section, we want to provide contact information for the different agencies throughout the El Paso area that we have worked with that have shown a commitment to Jesus Christ. If you need help with any of the following, please feel free to reach out to these trusted organizations. If you need assistance with anything that may not be listed below, please contact YFC El Paso for further assistance. We are here to help you in any way we can.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy & Fatherhood Solutions – Their goal isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you get past the anxiety and find resources to create positive solutions when dealing with pregnancy issues. They are a Christ-based organization that works with both males (with how to be Godly fathers) and females.

Addictions

Teen Challenge – Teen Challenge provides youth, adults, and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol addictions to help them become productive members of society.

Homelessness

The Christian Home – The Christian Home provides a safe temporary shelter for children for up to 90 days. If you need a place to stay there are options, and you don’t have to sleep in the streets.

Food

The Mustard Seed Café -- The Mustard Seed Café is a NonProfit, Pay-What-You-Can Community Café. They want to tell and demonstrate the love of Jesus to every single person who comes through their doors! They serve delicious, nutritious food with an accompanying commitment to treat each person with dignity and honor. They are open on Wed-Friday from 11 am-2 pm.

Guests may volunteer an hour with them in exchange for a meal, or they may choose to pay what they can on a suggested price for their meal. Some pay the suggested price, others pay less, and some pay more as a donation to pay it forward. They provide a free monthly community meal the last Wednesday of every month.

COUNSELING

 

Living Hope Christian Counseling Service -- Their Calling is to offer hope, healing, and restoration to hurting people, marriages, and families, using respected therapy practices and solid biblical principles. Their purpose is to is to help each person discover and embrace their true identity in Christ. From this new perspective, the person is better able to live relationships in a healthy manner. Their message is that we have choices for our lives. We do not have to live under bondage, negativity, or pain of our past or present. There is a better way – God’s way – it works.
